Spa Training / Assessment
The Single Pitch Award (SPA) is for those wishing to instruct rock climbing in both indoor and outdoor environments. It is a two day course based on the SPA syllabus. Before attending the training course, candidates must have registered with either the MLTE, MLTS or, MLTW, have lead at least 15 routes outdoors on leader-placed protection, and be 18 years of age.
Level: 12 Months outdoor climbing experience
