If the prospect of climbing some classic routes on the hallowed grit stone crags of the Peak District sounds interesting, then this is the course for you. Under the supervision of our locally based instructor, you'll get the chance to see for yourself how outdoor climbing works.
Your instructor will show you how removable anchor systems are built and will help you make sense of climbing grades and guide books. After a quick bouldering session to help you get used to the lack of footholds and abundance of friction, there'll be little left to do but get on with lots and lots of climbing.
Your instructor will be qualified to at least SPA level and the maximum client:instructor ratio for this course is 6: 1.
Experience To make the most of your time on the crag, you should be a competent belayer. For those wishing to partake in this course, but lack the necessary experience, our Beginners Course is an ideal preliminary and covers all the relevant skills and techniques.
Equipment All climbing equipment can be supplied. You can specify what you need to borrow on the booking form.
