Strength and Conditioning
Our Strength and Conditioning classes are based on developing all round fitness to help you get the most out of your time at MECW. We will be covering everything from core strength, flexibility, muscle growth, stamina, injury prevention and power training.
All climbers will experience the feeling of not improving and most climbers will live with that and end up getting bored, injured or give up climbing completely. Improving your overall fitness and strength will help you overcome these problems.
These classes will cater for all levels of climbers from novice to expert, anyone can achieve great results when attending these classes.
Strength and Conditioning classes are one hour long and run on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.
It was very dynamic. We exercised muscles of all the body.

Ermagerd. Brad is fantastic. This is my third class now and I have already seen a difference in my body shape after a prolific holiday period. Been climbing for 2 years 3x a week on and off and have definitely noticed an improvement in my strength since my first class in December, which has freed me up to try some more advanced techniques so I've jumped up a grade on the wall as well.
Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who has plateaud (sp?) on the wall. It's given me even more confidence and ambition to maybe start considering to think about trying trapeze too, you know in case climbing becomes too easy.
Thanks very much for a great class. Looking forward to the next one.
