The course instructor was great and was great to have the afternoon to work on our climbing.

The instructor was very thorough, relatable and easy to follow. We had one person in the group that has never touched rope before and others who had not for a while By the end everyone was reliably checking each other, using the knots correctly and belaying confidently. Personally I felt supervised, safe and if anything I needed to check in with the instructor about was clearly explained back. The layout of the program was fantastic, the theory behind why we do things was very helpful as it puts the significance in perspective. Only thing that comes to mind that could improve the course is if we had an hour or two extra to just focus on the climbing/belaying practice, as that's usually the moment when people get a bit more overwhelmed. Projecting some harder climbs to get comfortable with the belayers and allowing the belayers to get used to catching climbers.

It was an excellent course. Serious, but lightly handled. Confidence giving and clearly presented- all with friendliness and care. Only thing it felt slightly rushed at the end - maybe gain a little more time by shortening the lunch break, which didn’t need to be so long.

The instructor was friendly and patient. The pace of the session could be improved - it felt very slow at the start and I wished we had spent more time climbing and trying different routes. It would have been nice for the centre to provide chalk bags for the participants. And the end felt abrupt - it would be better to give us time to keep practising with the ropes and harnesses rather than taking them away. However, I do now feel more informed about top roping and more confident, so I think the course achieved its main aims.

Instructor was informal and informative. I learned a lot and now feel ready to rope climb!!! Especially appreciated how we repeated everything again and again, and that he explained why things are done a certain way.

The course was very well structured, lots of safety advice given and enjoyable. The instructor (sorry I cannot remember the guys name) was very patient, clear and was good good fun. The team that meet you upon arrival and friendly and helped me with a mix up of a booking without any issues what so ever. I will definitely be recommending this to many.
