Please make sure you check the dates when adding your Introduction To Bouldering Course - choose a date that is suitable for you, not just the first one on the list!

The training was very detailed and the instructor went through everything multiple times so it consolidated in our heads properly. I felt well supported when belaying and appreciated all the tips given. A very enjoyable session!

The instructor was great, with a good pace and lots of opportunities for us to practice. I don't think it could be improved, to be honest! And the fact that you get one visit free afterwards is great!

I think that the instructor Callum did not make me feel as safe as he could have - I feel as though he could have talked everyone through everything or did a wider overarching instruction and then checked to make sure everyone got it

I thought the course was run very well and everything went very smoothly. Our instructor Callum did an excellent job of group cohesion, making sure we were going at the pace of the less experienced, I believe everyone felt safe and reasurred. If i were to do it again I would do the bouldering course on a separate day to the rope course as I was a little fatigued and feel i would of got more out of the bouldering course if i hadn't crammed it into a day...but, an excellent introduction into climbing and will see you again soon. Many thanks

Great instructor, thorough but not slow. A tour of the centre would help for future visits?

The course instructor was great and was great to have the afternoon to work on our climbing.

The instructor was very thorough, relatable and easy to follow. We had one person in the group that has never touched rope before and others who had not for a while By the end everyone was reliably checking each other, using the knots correctly and belaying confidently. Personally I felt supervised, safe and if anything I needed to check in with the instructor about was clearly explained back. The layout of the program was fantastic, the theory behind why we do things was very helpful as it puts the significance in perspective. Only thing that comes to mind that could improve the course is if we had an hour or two extra to just focus on the climbing/belaying practice, as that's usually the moment when people get a bit more overwhelmed. Projecting some harder climbs to get comfortable with the belayers and allowing the belayers to get used to catching climbers.
