development training clubs

Our new coaching membership to level up your climbing as part of a supportive crew.

What is the Development Training Club?

This coaching membership is a way to progress your climbing under the guidance of an instructor, training with the same group of people every week. It’s a great way to keep you accountable to an exercise routine, committing to learning techniques and styles of climbing that you may not ordinarily train, and building relationships at the wall.

Key details:

Session Duration 1.5 hours per session
Price £130 per month
Minimum age 18
Instructor ratio 1:6
Equipment  All equipment is provided, but having your own shoes is definitely suggested to optimise your performance and comfort.
Requirements  Participants must be registered as Competent Adult Boulderers – this can be done by following the registration process at the bottom of this page.

Includes

  • Monthly Membership to the wall, including all membership benefits.
  • Weekly coached bouldering sessions (4 to 5 sessions on average per month) with a fixed day and time slot to allow you to build a consistent routine.
  • Long-term development and consistency with the same coach.
  • At an extra cost, personalised coaching support can be available through Training Plans or Video Assessment (discuss this with your coach if you are interested).

Do I need to be an experienced climber?

Climbers of any ability and experience level can benefit from long-term coaching and we will adjust the drills and exercises to suit you.

How can I book?

There are limited spaces, so this can only be booked through the reception team at the counter, either in-person or on the phone.

If you are interested in a session that is sold out, you can join our Waiting List by expressing your interest on this form: https://forms.office.com/e/hH1tgNYtY6?origin=lprLink

Additional Information

  • Please wear normal gym wear. Climbing centres are notoriously hot in summer and very cold in winter so dress accordingly. In particular, it is helpful to have warm clothing when climbing in the Secret Garden.
  • Please bring your own hydration and snacks that you need to keep yourself fuelled.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before start of the course so we can check you in and start the course promptly.
  • Getting here: The nearest tube station is Mile End station. If you’re visiting us by car, we have a car park on-sight. We also have plenty of space to lock your bike.
  • To participate in any of our courses, you must complete a registration form: ADULT REGISTRATION FORM

Billing and Cancellation:

As this is a long-term coaching programme, once you have signed up, you are committing to membership of the club for at least one whole calendar month. Your first payment will be prorated until the end of the month plus the next full calendar month.

Rolling memberships automatically renew on the 2nd of the month.

Cancellation of membership to the club requires notice of one week prior to the billing date. This can be done by emailing enquiries@mileendwall.org.uk or through the reception team at the counter, either in-person or on the phone.
