This course is an introduction to the art of bouldering indoors. More than just a lesson in technique, the keyword for this course is improvement. Whether you are just starting out, or have hit intermediate plateau, this course will help you to avoid the pitfalls that hinder progress and will arm you with the knowledge to space and structure your training for optimal improvement.
Week 1 - Back to Basics Taking apart the essential climbing skills for analysis and introduction to some of the principles for training. Laying down the foundation for body care.
Week 2 - Problems and Solutions Exploring personal strengths and weaknesses and using problem setting and solving as a tool for development. An introduction to dynamics and steep ground.
Week 3 - Consolidation Learning to structure sessions in terms of your activity and recovery balance. Putting things into context and looking to the outdoors for inspiration.
Availablity The course runs every month over three Sundays from 12.00pm to 13.30pm.
